Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Paron, Arkansas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

Repair of the Lake Winona Spillway in Saline County, Arkansas. Bonds: Certified Check required, 5% Bid Bond. These general and detailed specifications form a part of the Contract Documents and shall govern the work described below: 1.2 The contractor shall have experience of 3 or more projects of similar scope and size. The scope of work for Lake Winona Dam Spillway is as follows: Repair Procedures: CONTROL JOINT REPAIR: Clean the joints and surface preparation per manufacturer's recommendations to remove debris. Grind or diamond/carbide-cut the seams to 1-inch wide x 3-inches deep. Sand blast 2" on either side of the seam for adhesion of the Sikaflex 429 primer. Clean the seam again with high pressure air. Mix and apply the Sikaflex 429 primer per the Manufacturer's instructions. Allow drying time per Manufacturer's instructions. Apply the Backer Rod to the bottom half (1.5-inch) of the joint - or as produced from grinding/cutting. If the seam is more than 3-inches deep, additional filler such as hemp string is to be packed in to create a sound bottom for the backer rod to rest against at the normal 2" deep level. Backer Rod: sponge rubber, pre-molded joint filler shall conform to ASTM D1752 Type I (3/4"). Mix and Apply the Sikaflex Sealant to the seam - level to the surface. Allow to cure in place per Manufacturer's instructions. SURFACE PREPARATION AND DEMOLITION: Surface Preparation/Demolition: For all areas as noted to be repaired with Tnemec Series 217 Mortarcrete, prepare surface in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations. Remove all dirt, film, loose materials, deteriorated concrete, debris, laitance, paint, coating and other deleterious materials from the surface in accordance with SSPC-SP13/NACE 6. Chip out faulty concrete until sound substrate is reached. Remove all loose material from area by high pressure water jetting. Prepare surface profile to a minimum ICRICSP5. Prepare edge conditioning in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations. CONCRETE PARTIAL DEPTH REPAIR: Where required, reform copper expansion joint plate and maintain expansion joint form. Maintain surface in saturated surface dried (SSD) condition for application Tnemec Series 217 Mortarcrete. Apply surface bonding coat in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations. Mix, apply, and cure the Tnemec Series 217 Mortarcrete per the Manufacturer's instructions. OGEE WEIR REPAIR: Concrete Repair: Mix, apply, and cure the Tnemec Series 217 Mortarcrete per the Manufacturer's instructions to repair voids and reform weir to existing contours. Where concrete repair is equal to or greater than 3" in depth, install fiber reinforcement (fiber mesh): Synthetic reinforcing fiber for concrete shall be 100 percent polypropylene collated, fibrillated fibers as manufactured by Propex Concrete Systems Corp., Chattanooga, TN or approved equal. Fiber length and quantity for concrete mix shall be in strict compliance with the manufacturer's recommendations as approved by the Engineer. Topcoat: Mix, apply, and cure, per manufacturers recommendations, Tnemec Series N218 or Mortartec Ceramico to entire ogee weir area. Apply Tnemec 456/457 CPP Sprayliner (DFT 150-250 mils) Maintain a final top of weir elevation of 740'. REINFORCED WALL REPAIRS: Cut, repair, or otherwise modify existing concrete as indicated on the Drawings and as specified. Exercise caution when removing existing concrete to ensure the surrounding concrete and existing reinforcement to be lift in place is not damaged. Drill hole per the depth and diameter as specified by the manufacturer. Clear dust and debris prior to placing dowel adhesive. Doweling adhesive shall be a twocomponent vinyl ester blend system supplied in single cartridges separating the resin from the hardener, and capable of dispensing an accurately proportioned adhesive mixture. HY-200 Cartridge by Hilti Corporation, Tulsa, Oklahoma; Set 3G by Simpson Strong Tie Company, Pleasanton, California; AC200+ by DeWalt, Townson, Maryland; or approved equal All reinforcing steel shall conform to ASTM A615 Grade 60 Maintain surface in saturated surface dried (SSD) condition for application Tnemec Series 217 Mortarcrete. Apply surface bonding coat in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations. Mix, apply, and cure the Tnemec Series 217 Mortarcrete per the Manufacturer's instructions.
