Sealed bids are requested for the University of Mississippi Field Station House UM # 25-039 BID FILE # 1284. Alternate No.1: (Add wood ceiling and trim in Living/Dining and Hallway in lieu of 1/2 " gypsum board) Alternate No.2: (Add Screen Porch roof and framing). Alternate No.3: (Add Carport roof and framing). Alternate No. 4 (Add Guest House and adjacent parking pad). new construction of a 2,043 sf single family residence in abbeville, ms. 3 bed, 2 bath, single story wood framed construction with metal siding and roof. alternate additions including: wood ceiling, screened patio, covered carport, and 494 sf guest house Bid preparation must follow the Instructions to Bidders included in the project manual. Bids must be submitted using the form provided by the architect and must include a bid bond or certified check for at least five percent (5%) of the base bid, payable to the University of Mississippi. The bid envelope must display the Contractor's current Certificate of Responsibility Number and License Number unless the bid is less than or does not exceed $50,000. Bids may be submitted electronically as instructed via the provided link. The University reserves the right to waive irregularities and reject any or all bids. Bid documents are available for purchase (non-refundable) and plan holders must register with a valid email address. For questions, contact Beard + Riser Architects PLLC. All plan holders must follow registration and order procedures for bid documents via the specified website. Q/A- Questions should be directed to the Architect. Should a Bidder find discrepancies in, or omissions from the plans and specifications, or be in doubt as to their meaning, the Bidder should immediately notify the Architect in writing. The Arxhitect will send written instruction(s) or interpretation(s) to all known holders of the documents.
