Frederick County, Maryland is seeking proposals from qualified firms for the provision of rehabilitation services for manholes and wet wells. The services required include rehabilitation using an epoxy coating system and related services for the County Sanitary Sewer System. The structures requiring rehabilitation are deteriorating due to high levels of hydrogen sulfide, and the work to be performed includes cleaning, repairing, and coating with Protective Coating Material that is resistant to hydrogen sulfide. The successful contractor will be expected to perform work at designated times and locations as specified by the County. The contract is open ended with the possibility for multiple project assignments over the next fiscal year. Estimated work includes approximately 300 vertical feet of manholes in the first year, though this is not guaranteed and may be adjusted by the County. Completion dates for each project will be negotiated between the County and the contractor.
