Renovation of a medical facility in Ottawa, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 10,000-square-foot medical facility.
The Ottawa Humane Society is seeking a Design-Build team to provide professional design services under a Progressive-Design Build model for the renovation of 258 Durocher St. in Ottawa, ON. The selected design-build firm will undertake the retrofit of the building, approximately 10,000 sq. ft., to function as the new animal welfare hub. The scope includes incorporating a fully equipped and CVO accredited veterinary clinic to support underserved pet owners, offering preventative veterinary medicine, medical and surgical care for sick and injured pets, and eventually dental surgical care. Veterinary services will be provided in a portion of the site covering approximately 5,000 to 6,000 square feet. Entities that have previously provided professional services to OHS related to this project or site prior to the RFP process are ineligible to submit a proposal.
