Description

The contractor shall provide a comprehensive service contract to perform inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems and fire pumps for the VA San Diego Healthcare System. Services shall be performed in accordance with NFPA 13, NFPA 25, and The Joint Commission standards to ensure system reliability, code compliance, and life safety. The scope includes all labor, supervision, equipment, tools, and materials necessary to properly inspect, test, maintain, and repair existing fire sprinkler systems and fire pumps as required. The contractor must possess appropriate asbestos certifications and perform all work in compliance with applicable federal regulations and standards. Additional technical and performance requirements are detailed within the Statement of Work incorporated in the RFQ.
