Prequalification proposals will be received via mail (2 hard copies and 1 thumb drive ) on behalf of the owner by pH& j architects , INC. At 807 south mcdonough street , montgomery , alabama 36104 until 2:00 pm local time , June 23 , 2026. The prequalification procedure is intended to identify responsible and competent bidders relative to the requirements of the project . Herein are the forms for pre - qualification proposal requirements to be completed and returned . Prequalified General Contractors will be notified by email / phone on July 6 , 2026. A cashier's check or bid bond payable to Montgomery County Board of Education in an amount not less than five ( 5 ) percent of the amount of the bid , but in no event more than $ 10,000 , must accompany the bidder's proposal . Performance and statutory Labor and Material Payment Bonds , and insurance in compliance with requirements , will be required at the signing of the Contract .
