The work includes labor and equipment necessary to complete the piping of the Lateral 22 and South Crossover Canals including earthwork, installation of Owner Supplied bypass line, PVC Pipe and Fittings, construction of Irrigation Wells, construction of Irrigation Outlets and any other incidentals necessary. The Material Supply packages will include bids for fabricated stainless-steel gates, alfalfa valves, small diameter PVC fittings and the manufacture and delivery of 48" and 60" diameter PVC fittings. A CERTIFIED OR CASHIER'S CHECK, or an acceptable bid bond in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the total bid shall accompany each bid as a guaranty that, if awarded the Contract, the bidder will promptly enter into a contract with the District and furnish performance and payment bonds on the forms provided. Doc note: An electronic version on CD is available for $50.00. Material Supply Packages are available for a non-refundable cost of $25.00. All Bidders must be on Bidders/Plan holders List maintained and available through Ferris, Flinn & Medina, LLC. Donna Irrigation District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any or all informalities, and to award the contract to the bidder or bidders, who, in the opinion of the District offers the proposal in its best interest. The prices submitted will be unit prices and the award will be based on the estimated quantity of work outlined in the bid form considering the work the Owner will actually perform.
