Reference Number 0000426290 The City of Livingston is seeking proposals from qualified consulting firms to conduct an alternatives analysis for a potential new grade separated railroad crossing within the community. The study will evaluate feasible locations for a new vehicular and pedestrian crossing over or under the BNSF Transcontinental Line, with the goal of identifying a locally preferred alternative to improve safety, emergency access, and traffic flow. The project includes reviewing existing conditions and previous planning efforts, collecting traffic data, engaging emergency service providers, conducting public outreach, evaluating potential crossing locations, developing conceptual designs and cost estimates, identifying environmental and construction considerations, and supporting City Commission decision making.
