In awarding a contract the District may consider: purchase price ; the reputation of the vendor and of the vendor's goods and services ; the quality of the vendor's goods or services ; the extent to which the goods or services meet the District's needs ; the vendor's past relationship with the District ; the vendor's record for performing and completing warranty work in atimely manner ; the ability of the vendor to meet the District's schedule ; the ability of the vendor to meet specified insurance requirements ; the vendor's references responses ; any other relevant information the District might consider in selecting a vendor . The Project consists of a base bid parking lot with several additive options that may be awarded at the owners discretion . The Board of Trustees has delegated authority to a committee for the evaluation of the criteria ,and their assigned points , which will be contained in the project documents to interested parties who respond to the published notice . Hudson I.S.D. reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to waive any informality in the proposal . A bid bond in the amount of 5 % of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each bid . A certified check or bank draft payable to Hudson I.S.D. or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value ) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond . Cash currency is not acceptable as bid surety and is not to be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond .
