Tempe Union High School District is seeking offers from qualified vendors to supply specialty woods, lumber, hand and power tools, machinery, and repair and maintenance services to support its schools and departments. The procurement covers specialty wood, lumber, plywood, tools, machines, repairs, or maintenance as needed. Brand names, trade names, model numbers, and catalog numbers may be used to set standards for quality and performance, but equivalent brands may be submitted. The District reserves the right to determine equivalency and to make awards to multiple vendors if necessary. Partial bids will be considered. Vendors are asked to state current retail pricing and discounts for the specified brands, and pricing evaluation will be based on overall lowest price. Sales tax should not be included in evaluation items. Specifications and requirements must be addressed, and bidders should indicate compliance or deviations for each. Supplemental information may be attached and should reference the relevant section. Alternate products must be clearly identified with supporting documentation. Samples may be requested. All submissions must be made through the District's e-Procurement system. Bidders providing installation or on-site services must have employees with valid fingerprint clearance cards. The contract may be awarded to multiple bidders and will be referenced by the District purchase order. No minimum purchase volume is guaranteed, and the District may purchase similar goods or services from other sources if needed. Delivery must meet specified timelines, and the District's decision on compliance is final. Freight charges, if any, should be clearly indicated. Award is based on factors including conformity with specifications, support, reliability, previous performance, delivery time, user needs, and completeness of information provided in the bid. Trade discounts must remain firm for the contract term.
