This work consists of all mobilization, excavation, material, labor, equipment, and incidentals necessary for the resurfacing of the north parking lot in the Park Forest Downtown area. The project consists of approximately 12,850 S.Y. of HMA milling and resurfacing and 10,000 feet of parking lot striping. Work shall not begin prior to September 21st, 2026, and must be completed by November 20, 2026. Proposals must be submitted on the provided forms. The contractor must furnish sufficient insurance and guaranty of indemnity against any and all claims which might arise for damages to persons or property due to negligence during construction and until the improvement is fully accepted as complete. No less than the prevailing wage rate as determined by the Department of Labor or by court review shall be paid to all workers performing work under this contract. The Village reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities or irregularities, and to make such award as deemed in its best interest. The Village may refuse to issue plans, bid forms, and specifications to any entity it considers unqualified. No bid shall be withdrawn after opening without the consent of the Mayor and Board of Trustees.
