The scope of work involves furnishing all the required labor, materials, equipment, implements, parts, and supplies necessary for, or appurtenant to, Grand Oaks roof replacement, in accordance with the specifications dated May 29th, 2026. All proposals must be sealed and delivered to One East Crystal Lake Avenue, Crystal Lake, Illinois 60014. Grand Oaks Recreation Center 1401 West Route 176 Crystal Lake IL 60014 Ice & Water Shield :- Furnish and install Grace Select (or approved equal ) self - adhering ice and water shield at : Two (2 ) 36 " courses along the full gutter perimeter , extending up a minimum of 6 feet from the eave . o One (1) 36 " course at all roof valleys . o Around the base of the chimney . o Along all walls under step flashing . Underlayment Install Owens Corning ProArmor Synthetic Underlayment (or approved equal ) over all remaining roof area not covered by ice and water shield . Drip Edge & Flashings Install new aluminum drip edge at all gutter edges and rakes . Install new aluminum step flashing at all wall /roof intersections Install new lead flashings on all plumbing vent stacks (9 locations ) Install Velux EDL S06-0000B step flashing kits at skylight locations (2 each ). Shingles & Ridge Install Owens Corning Starter Strip Plus along all gutter lines and rake edges . Install Owens Corning DURATION Limited Lifetime Dimensional Shingles (or approved equal ) per manufacturer specifications , using a minimum of six (6) nails per shingle with 1 1/4 " roofing nails . Estimated area : 138.14 SQ . Install Owens Corning ProEdge AR Hip & Ridge Shingles at all hips and ridges . Ventilation' Install new GAF 12 " Cobra Snow Country 4 ' ADV ridge vent (or approved equal ) along the full ridge length . Install 40 new Lomanco 750 aluminum slant - back static roof vents (or approved equal ). Install 4 new Lomanco KV68 6" -8 " black kitchen exhaust vents (or approved equal ) . Install 4 new black slant - back bath exhaust vents .
