Site work for a water / sewer project in Grasonville, Maryland. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Sealed bids are requested for the construction of a 12-inch PVC and HDPE potable water main, extending west along Main Street from approximately 3232 Main Street in the Kent Narrows east area to the Chester River Beach overpass in Queen Anne's County, Maryland. The contract work includes installing about 3,200 linear feet of 12-inch PVC water sewer main via open trench and approximately 4,900 linear feet via horizontal directional drilling, within SHA rights-of-way. The work also includes installing division valves, fire hydrants, and individual services. Any trench within paving must be repaired with hot mix asphalt base course at the end of each week. Contractors must adhere to SHA permit work hour restrictions. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder after sureties and insurance requirements are met.
