The purpose is to contract for Construction Inspection and Management Services (CMIS), inclusive of surveying and foundation design services for a FEMA/MEMA Structural Elevation Project. The project involves elevating a house at 20349 Nanticoke Drive, Nanticoke, MD, in conformity with specified requirements. SCOPE OF WORK A. The County is seeking proposals from qualified Vendors, to provide construction services for Structure Elevation at the address 20349 Nanticoke Drive, Nanticoke, MD to elevate the residential structure two feet above the base flood elevation (BFE plus 2 feet) and constructing the foundation, per the documents contained in this Solicitation. The Work consists of elevating the lowest finished floor elevation to a height of at least two (2) feet above BFE, construct the foundation, and then lowering the building onto the new foundation/pier(s). The Vendor shall furnish all equipment, tools, materials, labor and incidentals necessary to complete the project within the time period specified, and in accordance with the Solicitation documents, under a grant funded program. B. For the purpose of the Scope of Work, the dwelling at 20349 Nanticoke Drive, Nanticoke, MD; with a foundation elevation of the main dwelling, not including the garage and future planned "NEW" deck. C. Provide plumbing, electrical, and construction permits as needed, inclusive of disconnection, reconnection, and extensions of all utilities, to the new foundation; electrical, sewer, HVAC and duct work, plumbing, and providing temporary bracing of same. Providing temporary grounding, silt fence, dumpster, and excavation and fill as needed for grading of site. D. Provide demolition of the existing foundation and construction/excavation of the new foundation per the existing construction plans. Provide, if needed, the necessary concrete piers/columns, steel beams, rebar reinforcing, concrete footings, and structural steel work per industry standards. Provide backfilling, bracing and anchoring, and detachment/reattachment of the existing structure to the new foundation. E. Replace existing wood structural beams under floor joists with steel beams per attached engineering drawing. F. Provide new subflooring as needed, inclusive of all floor joists, wall and floor framing, and installation of pressure treated sills, anchors..
