Description

Renovation of a multi-residential development in Plattsburgh, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.

The project is for replacing boilers at the President's Residence and 133 Court Street for the State University of New York at Plattsburgh. Bidders are required to submit sealed proposals, and all work must be completed by the specified completion date. Bids must be submitted in accordance with the provided instructions, and a bid security of at least five percent of the total bid is required. Minority business enterprise participation is encouraged for contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers. The University reserves the right to reject any or all bids. For scope and complexity, similar work is defined as Salvage the existing boiler in the President's Residence located at 134 Court Street and replacing it with (2) electric boilers. The scope also includes installation of a 3-phase electrical service and standby generator. The salvaged boiler from 134 Court Street will need to be relocated to 133 Court Street and re-installed upon removal of the existing boiler at 133 Court Street, of as further described in the General Requirements, Description of Work.
