Gunnison County Public Works is requesting sealed proposals from qualified asphalt paving contractors to furnish and place hot-mix asphalt (HMA) for multiple County Road approaches throughout Gunnison County, Colorado. All asphalt placed under this contract shall meet current CDOT specifications for mountain paving conditions. Gunnison County will provide all traffic control and all dirt work/subgrade preparation. The contractor will be responsible for asphalt production, placement, compaction, and quality control testing as specified. A bid alternate exists for hauling/trucking of material where either the contractor or the County will be responsible for this task. Responses to this Request for Proposal (RFP) will be used to identify a qualified contractor to lead this project.
