On behalf of the City of Abilene, Linbeck is soliciting qualified subcontractors and trade partners to participate in the upcoming Abilene Regional Airport (ABI) Terminal Expansion Project - Package 1, a transformative initiative aimed at modernizing and enhancing the passenger experience while supporting the continued growth of regional air service. This project will include the expansion and renovation of the existing terminal facility, designed to improve operational efficiency, increase passenger capacity, and elevate overall service quality. Key components of the project are anticipated to include: Expansion of terminal square footage to accommodate future passenger growth Modernization of ticketing, security screening, and gate areas Upgraded baggage handling systems and passenger circulation improvements Enhanced concessions, waiting areas, and passenger amenities Improvements to building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and life safety Exterior improvements and potential apron/interface work tied to terminal operations The project represents a significant investment in the region’s infrastructure and economic development, positioning ABI to better serve airlines, passengers, and the surrounding community for years to come.
