Description

Site work for a water / sewer project in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Upgrades to the existing Oak Lake Dam fixed crest concrete spillway rock overflow dam including partial demolition of the existing concrete dam and construction of a new rockfill overflow spillway with a sheet pile core cutoff. The spillway upgrades include excavation of the existing west dike and construction of 30 m of an augmented rockfill overflow spillway. Upgrades to the west dike include lowering of approximately 360 m of dike crest to El. 430.2 m and topping up of approximately 2.5 km of crest to El. 430.75 m with impervious fill. The west dike upgrades also include upstream riprap reconstruction, downstream riprap placement, and installation of turf reinforcement mat along the full length of the west dike. Construction of an aquatic habitat enhancement shoal near the northern limits of the East Dike. Bids must be submitted online.
