Maintenance Pump Station & Flood Control Contract, Statewide - 2026, Various Locations Statewide; 100% State Funded Estimated Range between $2,500,001 to $5,000,000 The Principal Items of Work Consist of: Quantity Unit Description 2,500 Hour Lane Closures 2,700 Hour Repair Category "a" 2,700 Hour Repair Category "B" Contractors Prequalified in one of these Work Types are eligible to bid this project: 7 Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.35(d), if the Commissioner of the Department of Labor and Workforce Development (LWD Commissioner) makes an initial determination that an employer has violated the provisions of P.L.1963, c.150 (C.34:11-56.25 et seq.) by paying wages at rates less than the rates applicable under that act, the LWD Commissioner may immediately issue a stop-work order to cease all business operations at every site where the violation has occurred, and may assess a civil penalty of $5,000 per day against the employer for each day it conducts business operations in violation of the stop-work order. If the stop-work order is issued against a subcontractor, the general contractor may terminate that subcontractor from the project in accordance with N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.35(d).
