The Housing Authority of the Cherokee Nation is seeking bids from certified licensed roofers who self-perform for the rehabilitation of one home located in Adair County. Work must be completed according to the work write-up and finished within 3 working days. Work should begin within two weeks of notification or $100.00 liquidated damages will be charged for each working day past the contract end date. To be considered responsive, the Mandatory Bid Response sheet and the Work Write Up must be fully completed. Preference will be given to TERO certified bidders; proof of certification must accompany submittals. The successful bidder will be required to comply with Tribal rules and regulations and TERO. The responsible Contractor providing the lowest, most responsive bid in accordance with the HACN Procurement Policy will be issued a purchase order, subject to availability of funds. Bids may be emailed or hand delivered, and it is the bidder's responsibility to ensure delivery. Bids received after the deadline will not be considered. Bidders are responsible for all costs associated with preparation and submission of bids. No bid may be withdrawn within 30 days after the due date. The HACN reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Indian preference is given to bidders who provide proof of current TERO certification. The bidder must complete the TERO Labor Agreement and pay all applicable fees. Davis-Bacon Wage Rate #OK20260005 applies to this project.
