Durham College is accepting proposals for several civil repairs and improvements at the North Oshawa campus located at 2000 Simcoe St. N, as further described in the listed deliverables and associated bid documents. Proponents should complete the deliverables within the renovated areas and avoid disrupting campus activities. The scope of civil repairs and improvements is detailed in the "Civil Repairs - Site Audit Report". Work will be carried out between July 6, 2026, and August 9, 2026, with time restrictions and requirements for work during weekends and outside regular hours to accommodate facility operations. One site supervisor must be present for all work, and the proponent will be responsible for site signage, storage and handling of materials, provision of certified subcontractors, coordinating access and deliveries, wearing proper safety attire, and ensuring training on health and safety protocols for staff. Security of equipment, compliance with safety laws, and adherence to insurance and WSIB requirements are mandatory. The proponent must maintain cleanliness of work areas, remove debris daily, restore any damages, and ensure the space is suitable for institutional operation upon completion.
