Site work and addition to a mixed-use development in Melfort, Saskatchewan. Completed plans call for site work for a swimming pool; warehouse / distribution facility; and for the addition of a 291-square-foot, one-story above grade swimming pool.
The project includes construction of a new purpose-built chemical storage facility to improve operational safety and regulatory compliance at the Northern Lights Palace Pool. The facility will provide safe separation of chlorine and acid storage, improved ventilation, designated chemical handling areas, and enhanced storage capacity for pool operations. The project also includes replacement and upgrading of aging boiler systems to improve reliability, energy efficiency, operational safety, and long-term service delivery. The work will support continued operation of the facility while reducing the risk of equipment failure and unplanned outages. Construction is anticipated to commence immediately following contract award, with substantial completion targeted for November 2026. Documents are available at www.sasktenders.ca
