The City of Deerfield Beach is soliciting sealed responses from qualified vendors for Injection Well IW-1 Rehabilitation and Mechanical Integrity Testing (MIT). Vendors or their subcontractors or key personnel performing the work must possess a current and valid State of Florida Water Well Contractor license, as well as any other required licenses, certifications, and accreditations. Questions regarding requirements must be submitted through eProcurement Marketplace. Each submittal must include a bid guaranty or acceptable alternative equal to five percent (5%) of the bid amount. The solicitation includes a pass-thru allowance which will be automatically added to the bid prices, with specific allowances for indemnification and undefined conditions. Questions and inquiries should be submitted via the eProcurement Marketplace link on the Procurement and Contracts Administration Division webpage The City of Deerfield Beach is seeking a qualified Contractor to furnish all labor , materials , equipment , tools , supervision , insurance , bonds , permits , and incidentals necessary to perform the rehabilitation and mechanical integrity testing (MIT ) of one existing Class I injection well , IW- 1, located at the City's West Water Treatment Plant , 290 Goolsby Boulevard , Deerfield Beach , Florida 33442 . The Work includes cleaning , flushing , airlift development , and acidization of Injection Well IW -1 to remove scale buildup within the fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP ) tubing and open -hole interval , reduce injection pressures , and restore well performance and injection capacity . Following rehabilitation activities , the Contractor shall perform geophysical logging and video surveying to evaluate and document the effectiveness of the rehabilitation efforts . The Work further includes performing internal and external mechanical integrity testing of IW- 1 to demonstrate the integrity of the well casing and tubing and to verify that no fluid movement occurs into an underground source of drinking water , in accordance with Chapter 62-528 , Florida Administrative Code , and Florida Department of Environmental Protection Underground Injection Control Operation Permit No. 0128648-007- UO / 1I . The required mechanical integrity testing shall be completed no later than December 9 , 2026 , in accordance with permit requirements . - All Work shall be performed in strict accordance with the requirements , technical specifications , drawings , and plans contained in Exhibit I - Technical Specifications and Plans , which is incorporated herein by reference . In the event of a conflict between the narrative description in this section and the technical requirements of Exhibit I, the requirements of Exhibit I shall govern , subject to the overall order of precedence set forth in Section III , Article 13.
