As of July 20, 2026, the project was awarded to Azimuth Contractors, LLC, with awarded amount of $476,241.96. The project involves the installation of a new sidewalk along Wilson Avenue. The work includes asphalt paving, new concrete sidewalks, new concrete curb and gutter, storm drainage, site work, erosion and sediment control measures, as well as the labor and materials necessary to install the authorized work. The project is funded in part by the Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG) and is subject to compliance with funding agency regulations. All required federal, state, and local permits, as well as required easements or rights of way, will be obtained prior to construction. Bidders must make positive efforts to use small and minority-owned businesses; comply with affirmative action and equal opportunity requirements; and adhere to relevant federal statutes and executive orders.
