Renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in Thomas, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the addition of a educational facility; and educational facility.
The Tucker County Board of Education will receive bids for Sprinkler Addition and Fire Alarm Renovations to Davis Thomas Elementary Middle School. Bids must be submitted to the office of the Tucker County Board of Education by 1:00 p.m., local prevailing time. A mandatory pre-bid conference for General Construction is scheduled at the school, with a site visit to follow. Contract documents are available only from the architect's Project Management Website upon request. Addenda will be distributed electronically to bidders registered in attendance at the mandatory pre-bid meeting. Each bidder must be registered with the West Virginia Department of Tax and Revenue and the West Virginia Secretary of State's Office, and must provide their registration certificate and contractor license numbers on the Form of Proposal. All bidders are required to be licensed to perform work in the state. A satisfactory bid bond of 5% of the total amount of the bid must be submitted with each bid. The successful bidder must provide a 100% Performance Bond and Payment Bond, with the fee included in the bid. No bid may be withdrawn for at least 30 days after the closing time for receipt of bids. The Tucker County Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
