Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Boston, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; for outdoor lighting for a sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Contractor Qualification Highway Division Reconstruction of the plaza to provide a space to install the art and an adjacent event space. Improvements to the existing sidewalks, ramps, and roadway are being proposed to bring PWD infrastructure to a state of good repair. Improvements include, but are not limited to: sidewalk and roadway reconstruction, ramps, lighting, green infrastructure, and concrete pavers. MassDOT prequalification of contractors with the classes of work as: "Highway Construction" for a contract with an estimated value of $1,640,428.00 will be required. A contractor that is not prequalified for the value above, but wants to bid a project, must submit a waiver request to MassDOT at least two weeks prior to the project's bid opening date.
