Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Loveland, Colorado. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.
**As of July 16th, 2026, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded by mid of August** Removal and replacement of over 10,000 SF of existing concrete. Replacement of the plaza concrete will be a combination of two systems. The area surrounding the buildings will be excavated for placement of helical piers, grade beams, void forms and concrete. The second system will be removal and replacement of concrete for pedestrian walkways that connect to the first system. The new concrete plaza will not be as large as the existing plaza. Additional work will include, but is not limited to, storm drainage, stairs, block wall extension, landscaping repairs and site amenities. Three alternate plans address additional work if budget allows. Reference Number 0000426593 This site was originally built over an abandoned landfill, and over time the concrete plaza surrounding the main complex buildings has sunk, creating significant ADA obstructions.
