Due to per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) contamination in existing private wells, this project will design and construct approximately 2,390 linear feet of a new water distribution main, 26 service connections, approximately 3,280 feet of on-property service extensions, and six fire hydrants. The proposed project will include geotechnical investigation and associated appurtenances. The project is eligible for a CE because undertaking this action: Will not significantly affect the degree of treatment or capacity of the existing facility; Will not directly or indirectly affect cultural resources, habitats of endangered or threatened species, or environmentally important natural resources area; Will not have a significant effect on the quality of the human environment; Will not cause significant public controversy.
