Description

Site work and new construction of an educational facility in Charleston, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the construction of a 75,128-square-foot educational facility.

Qualified contractors are invited to submit sealed bids for The New Country Roads Elementary School. Contractors must follow the bidding documents and submit bids as outlined. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, all requirements for the construction of the new school facility as detailed in the bidding documents, specifications, and project manual. The project encompasses divisions that include general requirements, site work, concrete, masonry, metals, wood and plastics, thermal and moisture protection, openings, finishes, specialties, equipment, furnishings, mechanical, fire suppression, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, communications, electronic safety and security, and utilities. Each bid is to be accompanied by a bid bond for five percent of the base bid. Bidders must be licensed and registered as required by state law, and successful bidders must provide performance and payment bonds equal to the contract sum. Bidding documents may be obtained as specified. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive minor informalities. All questions shall be submitted online to Kanawha County Schools utilizing 'BonFire ' online web account maintained by Kanawha County Schools . Question Deadline 06/25/2026 at 12:00 PM ET
