Scope: The complete tear off of existing rock roofing system and the preparation and installation of District supplied TRIMCO roofing system. 1 . Roof replacement preparation consisting of full roof tear- off of entire building roof system . 2 . Temporary protection . 3 . Temporary roof drainage . Sealed bids must be properly addressed and delivered by the deadline. Late bids will not be accepted. Contractor must attend mandatory pre-bid job-walks at all three specified sites to be eligible to bid. The lowest responsible and responsive bidder will be determined using the lowest total bid prices on the base bid and additive alternate #1. Bidders must possess a C39 License or equivalent and provide required bonds (10% Bid, 100% Performance, 100% Payment). Prequalification is not required. Duration for the work is 38 calendar days. Prevailing wage laws apply, with certified payroll required. Faxed or e-mailed bids will not be accepted. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) calendar days after the opening. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security of not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid price, payable to La Habra City School District.
