Sealed bids are requested for replacing doors and windows in multiple buildings at Dixon Correctional Institute, Jackson, Louisiana. All bids must include bid security equal to five percent (5.0%) of the total bid amount (base bid and all alternates), in the form presented in the Instructions to Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to provide a Performance and Payment Bond as described in the Instructions to Bidders. Bids are accepted only from contractors licensed under LA. R.S. 37:2150-2192 for Building Construction. The Owner reserves the right to reject any bids for just cause. Provisions and requirements found in the bidding documents and LA. R.S. 38:2212(B)(1) apply and shall not be waived. Contractors are encouraged to participate in the Small Entrepreneurship (Hudson Initiative) and Veteran-Owned/Service-Connected Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Entrepreneurships Program.
