Site work for a water / sewer project in Duluth, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project includes 14,555 lineal feet of CIPP lining ranging between 8” – 12” active sanitary sewer mains, 213 service lateral cuts, 40 chemical grout point repairs, and 28 open trench sewer pipe spot repairs. Part of the sanitary sewer line inventory has a history of root issues. Heavy root cleaning, chemical grout point repairs, spot repairs and end seals are estimates only based on historical data. Additionally, 200 vertical feet of lining manhole structures with a monolithic polyurea coating. All bids must be submitted electronically and will be accepted until the specified deadline. E-mail bids will not be accepted. The City of Duluth reserves the right to reject any or all bids, split the award or waive informalities, irregularities or minor deviations from the specifications, if deemed to be in the best interests of the City. Price may not be the only consideration for bid award. Bids must be firm for a minimum of 60 days.
