The City of Rowlett is considering adoption of a resolution under Sections 26.001 and 26.002 of the Texas Parks and Wildlife Code related to a proposed new Municipal Complex Project. The project would involve the taking and use of approximately 9.38 acres of a 24.256-acre tract currently designated and used as a public park known as Herfurth Park, located at 4500 Main Street. Approval of the resolution would allow the City to proceed with planning and development activities associated with construction of a new municipal complex on a portion of the park property.
