These improvements are intended to address ongoing erosion , stabilize adjacent residential fencing , and improve the long -term reliability of the drainage system . The work shall include but may not be limited to : Napa County is seeking qualified contractors to complete improvements to an existing stormwater drainage facility located along the rear property lines of residences on W Pueblo Avenue in Napa , CA. The project will include the installation of a new 24 -inch HDPE storm drain pipe within an open drainage ditch located behind residences on W Pueblo Avenue in Napa , CA. Work includes excavation , pipe installation , connections to existing storm drain systems and private laterals , backfill and compaction , installation of drainage inlets , vegetation clearing and grubbing , erosion control , and site restoration. Construction will occur within an existing disturbed corridor with access provided by Napa County . No known underground utility conflicts are anticipated . The Contractor will be responsible for protecting adjacent properties and restoring all disturbed areas upon completion of the work . Construction is anticipated to begin in September and be completed by October 2026 . The work shall be conducted during favorable weather with no ambient temperatures less than 55 degrees F. This work includes sole sourced 3M signage material for the purpose of conformity . The scope of work shall include and not be limited to : o Mobilization Construction Debris Area Setup and Disposal o Construction activities to completely stop between 5 pm and 8 am Implementation on Erosion and Sediment Control Best Management Practices (BMP ) o Construction Area Signs and Temporary Traffic Control (as needed ) per CAMUTCD standards , Caltrans and as directed by the Engineer and approved by County . All construction activities , including any temporary staging , shall occur within County right of way .Final cleanup and demobilization o Project Closeout Construction must occur in favorable weather and may only take place within designated working hours. The intent is to address erosion, stabilize adjacent residential fencing, and improve the reliability of the drainage system. The scope includes mobilization, debris area setup and disposal, implementation of Best Management Practices for erosion and sediment control, installation of temporary traffic control and signage as needed, and all necessary cleanup and project closeout. Bids are required for the entire work; neither partial nor contingent bids will be considered. All work must comply with the technical specifications, and the County reserves the right to increase, decrease, or omit portions of the work as deemed necessary or expedient by the Engineer. The Contractor must be fully licensed, attend a mandatory pre-bid walkthrough, and submit all inquiries via the County's e-Procurement Portal.
