Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Hendersonville, North Carolina. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.
The scope of work is the proposed renovation of the historic Berkeley Ballpark, including the playing surface, concourse, dugouts, concession stand, and grandstand, with an estimated all-in budget of approximately 2-3 million dollars. The Architect is responsible for coordinating preliminary planning for funding and schedule consideration; providing intermediate and construction plans and specifications; identifying and managing all required permits; managing the bid process according to applicable statutes and policies; and assisting with construction administration, including required communication for permitting. Special Inspections and Materials Testing will be handled by a third party contracted by Henderson County. Proposals must describe the professional qualifications of the firm and proposed staff, approach to the scope of services, relevant project experience, schedule of hourly compensation rates, and provide references. Firms may not submit work products or designs specific to this project, nor an estimated total fee or contract price.
