Site work and new construction of an educational facility in Hohenwald, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the construction of a 864-square-foot educational facility; and educational facility.

Lewis County Schools is soliciting sealed bids for a complete turn-key greenhouse and pole barn construction project to support Career and Technical Education (CTE), Agriculture Education, and student workforce development programs. The awarded contractor/vendor will serve as the primary contractor responsible for the successful completion and operation of the entire project. The primary contractor may coordinate with local contractors, businesses, the high school construction program, and industry partners for site work, including utilities, concrete, electrical, plumbing, equipment, materials, permits, coordination, supervision, and installation necessary to complete the project according to the provided specifications. The project includes architectural and engineering services, site preparation and grading, foundation work, concrete slab construction, electrical service and wiring, water and plumbing installation, natural gas line installation, coordination of all utilities, delivery, installation, and assembly of greenhouse and pole barn structures, and final operational setup and testing. The project must be delivered as a complete turn-key installation. GREENHOUSE: The greenhouse must be a gable series structure with 8mm twinwall polycarbonate glazing, engineered to meet minimum 30 lb. ground snow load and 90 mph wind load. It must include specified doors, ventilation and cooling systems, environmental controls, heating, irrigation, interior components, and engineered electrical drawings. POLE BARN: The pole barn must be a 24 x 36 structure with an overhead door and possible lean-to side extension, including concrete slab, electrical coordination, assembly, installation, and all metal structural framing. No installation of plumbing is required. Vendors must provide specifications and dimensions for the proposed structure. CONTRACTOR RESPONSIBILITIES: The contractor must coordinate all construction phases, ensure completion of all utility connections, provide all permits and inspections required, coordinate electrical, plumbing, and gas installation, provide complete operational installation, ensure compliance with applicable codes, provide warranty information, and an estimated project timeline. INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS: Bids must include detailed pricing, product specifications, timeline for completion, warranty information, references for similar projects, proof of insurance and licensing, and any alternate options or recommendations.
