Site work for a water / sewer project in Surrey, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work consists of furnishing all necessary supervision, overhead, labor, materials, tools, equipment, insurance, fuel, transportation, and all requirements for the construction and renovation of Welding Services for the Serpentine Dyke Sheet Pile Wall Extension at the specified location in Surrey, British Columbia. The main components include removal of existing steel capping plates (with optional reinstatement), installation of new PZC 13 sheet pile extensions (provided by the City) onto the existing sheet pile wall, full-strength continuous welding of extensions in accordance with CSA W47.1 and W59 and the corresponding drawings, sealing of interlocks, and ensuring all welding, tolerances, and alignment requirements are met as per IFT drawings. The contractor is responsible for coordinating traffic management and must submit a Traffic Management Plan prior to starting work. Field verification of existing conditions, preparation of sheet pile surfaces, and compliance with the City's Hot Work Permit requirements are mandatory. The City will handle advance civil works, vegetation clearing, and site preparation. All inquiries related to this RFQ should be directed in writing to purchasing@surrey.ca
