Separate sealed bids for the construction of the Water Treatment Plant Unit Heater Replacement will be received by the City of Miles City. Bids shall be submitted per requirements and form provided within the Contract Documents. The project consists of replacement of exterior roof mounted indirect gas fired recirculation unit heaters, including supporting electrical and general construction. Each bidder must comply with fair labor practices and state statutes, register with the Montana Department of Labor and Industry, and ensure non-discrimination. Bids must include a Certified Check, Cashier’s Check, or Bid Bond in an amount not less than 10% of the total bid. Successful bidders must provide a Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond, each for 100% of the contract amount. No bid may be withdrawn for 30 days after the bid opening. The right is reserved to reject any or all proposals, waive informalities, postpone the award for up to 60 days, and accept the lowest responsive and responsible bid in the best interest of the owner.
