The project includes the installation of 2,725 linear feet of 8" sewer pipe, 928 linear feet of 6" sewer pipe, 850 linear feet of 4" sewer service pipe, 28 manholes, and additional related and appurtenant construction work. Bids are to be submitted by qualified firms registered with the Arizona Registrar of Contractors. Each bid must be sealed and accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier’s Check, or Bid Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total base bid amount, made payable to the Town of Hayden. The successful bidder must enter into a contract and provide a satisfactory Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond. Minority, woman-owned, and disadvantaged businesses are encouraged to submit bids. The selected contractor must comply with federal laws, rules, and regulations as set forth in the EPA Contract Provisions for Non-Federal Entity Contracts Under Federal Awards. Bid and contract documents, specifications, and plans will be available in PDF format only, and bidders must register as plan holders to receive them. The Town of Hayden reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities or irregularities, and to withhold the award for any reason determined to be in the Town's best interests.
