Reference Number 0000323877 Scope includes but is not limited to:- Work of this Contract comprises removal and replacement of an underground sewage septic tank and associated piping, electrical and surface remediation located at Del Bonita Border Crossing Station near Del Bonita AB, and further identified as Del Bonita PoE - Septic System Replacement. Remove and dispose existing concrete Septic Tank; Work with Consultant to obtain soil samples of immediate area for testing; Remove contaminated soil as required; Make connections (plumbing) to existing building service connection; Supply and install new manhole and frame and cover; Supply and install 100mm PVC SDR35 Sanitary gravity main and associated insulation; Supply and install concrete 2-cell septic tank, c/w risers and cover; Supply and install electrical components for submersible lift pump, including all conduits, wiring, controls, floats, piping, supports, and panel box connections as per Electrical drawings; Supply and install weeping trench materials; Any and all other work as provided on Civil drawings. Provide Temporary Washroom Facilities during construction for use by Occupants. .1 The Contractor shall provide, maintain, service, clean, stock, and facilitate the regular emptying of a minimum two-washroom trailer unit for use by Occupants, workers, construction personnel, and the general public throughout the duration of the Project. Temporary facilities shall remain in service until the permanent washroom facilities are fully operational, inspected, and accepted for use by the Owner. .2 The washroom trailer shall be a self-contained unit equipped with a functioning sink supplied with potable water, flushable toilets, lighting, ventilation, heating as required, and all necessary utilities to ensure safe and comfortable year-round operation. .3 Portable toilets, "Port-a-Potty" units, chemical toilets, or similar temporary facilities are not acceptable unless specifically approved in writing by the Owner. .4 The Contractor shall be responsible for all costs associated with the supply, installation, operation, servicing, cleaning, maintenance, pumping, winterization, utility connections, and removal of the temporary washroom facilities. Itemized pricing shall be provided upon request. .5 The Contractor shall provide a complete, fully operational septic system designed to support continuous use of the temporary washroom facilities in a remote, critical facility environment. The system shall be designed and installed to accommodate anticipated occupancy levels and site conditions and shall be suitable for limited maintenance access and harsh climatic conditions. .6 The Contractor shall be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and servicing the septic system throughout the Project to ensure uninterrupted operation and to prevent overflows, leaks, odours, environmental contamination, or service disruptions. Work shall be completed by installers who are certified by Provincial Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) to install Private Onsite Sewage Works.
