Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a civil project in Rush Hill, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and road / highway.
The Scope of Work includes replacement of existing Bridge No. 4540006 with a new single span (58-6) prestressed concrete girder bridge and associated approach roadway work and provides for bridge removal, bridge construction, traffic control and other incidental items and work described in the Project Manual, or reasonably inferable therefrom. Audrain County anticipates issuing notice to proceed in the Fall of 2026. For a contractor to be awarded this project the contractor must have a fully responsive contractor questionnaire on file with the Missouri Highway and Transportation Commission at least 7 days prior to the bid opening date. All bidders must be on MoDOTs Qualified Contractor List per Section 102.2 of the current Missouri Standard Specifications for Highway Construction Any questions regarding this project must be submitted to: ttodd@cochraneng.com, by 4:00 pm local time on July 2, 2026. No written questions after this date or any verbal questions will be recognized. The Owner Intends to Award the Contract to the Lowest, Responsive, Responsible Bidder.
