Renovation of a military facility in Moon Township, Pennsylvania. Working plans call for the renovation of a military facility.

Demolition and removal of the existing hydraulic system and associated components at Dashields Locks and Dam, followed by installation of a new hydraulic system with supporting controls and structures. Work includes removal of motors, pumps, reservoirs, filters, piping, valves, manifolds, and electrical components, with embedded piping to be drained, cut, capped, and abandoned in place. Installation of new hydraulic cylinders, hydraulic power units (HPUs), stainless-steel piping, and manifold-mounted components is required, along with construction of new HPU buildings, an elevated platform, and a new control shelter in accordance with performance specifications and concept drawings. Electrical and control upgrades include installation of new control panels, consoles, wiring, and equipment within existing and new facilities. Concrete demolition and placement, trenching, geotechnical and civil site analysis, and installation of limited structural steel are also included. The project requires use of floating work platforms and boats, as well as full testing, commissioning, and delivery of as-built drawings stamped by a registered professional engineer. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
