The Town reserves the right to award the bid by item and further reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or parts thereof, to waive any informality in the proposals received and to accept the proposal, or parts thereof, which it deems to be most favorable or in the best interest of the Town. Work must be completed by 30 days of notice to proceed. At job completion a contractor representative shall review work on site by a representative from the Town of North Providence. The job site shall be cleaned and free of debris. All required documentation and information must be shall have been provided upon completion. Contractor shall provide at time of bid award a performance bond for 100% of total bid amount if over $50,000 as outlined in (R.I. Gen. Laws 37-12-1 et seq. and 37-13-14) by a company acceptable by the Town of North Providence and authorized by the State of Rhode Island to provide said bond. Contractor shall include with bid proof of ability to provide bond. The town of North Providence is seeking an RFP for the removal of (2) existing light poles and the installation of (2) New Poles in a different location. 1. Remove Existing lighting from the two existing poles 2. Remove two exisiting poles 3. Provide and install two new 40' or 60' class 2 wood poles at new locations along fence 4. Re-install existing fixtures 5. Excavate from existing handhole to location of new poles. 6. Install Conduit and wire matching existing and backfill 7. Make Final Connections and ensure lights are secure and working The Purchasing Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality in the bids received and to accept the bid deemed the lowest evaluated and most favorable to the interest of the Town. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
