The Schlemmer and Porter Water and Wastewater Improvements Project – Phase 4 involves upgrades to aging water and sewer infrastructure along Schlemmer Street and Porter Street in Kyle, Texas. Phase 4 will replace approximately 2,855 linear feet of existing 8-inch gravity wastewater lines with 12-inch lines, replace 4,110 linear feet of 6-inch and 8-inch water lines, upsize all 6-inch water lines to 8-inch lines to meet current city standards, and include milling and overlay of affected streets. The City of Kyle is considering approval of a professional services contract with LJA Engineering, Inc. for design, bid, and construction phase services for this phase of the project.
