Construction subcontracts are available for multiple scopes of work including masonry, millwork and finished carpentry, roofing and accessories, exterior siding, doors, frames, and hardware, windows, storefront and glazing, framing, sheathing, and air barrier, tile finishes, acoustic and specialty ceilings, interior paint and wall coverings, exterior painting, miscellaneous specialties and carpentry, food service equipment, modular building and components, fire protection, HVAC and plumbing, electrical, earthwork and utilities, site hardscapes and site furnishings, and landscaping for the Sumner High School Addition PH2. Sealed bids must be delivered to Sumner School District Maintenance. Contract documents can be obtained online through Building Connected or at Builder's Exchange of Washington. All bid period questions must be submitted in writing or by email to Skanska USA Building, Inc. A bid guarantee of 5% of the total bid amount is required, and may be submitted as a Bid Bond or cashier's check made to Skanska U.S.A. Building, Inc. The project seeks to maximize participation by small business entities and disadvantaged business enterprises, including minority and women business enterprises. Subcontractors may participate in a retention bond in lieu of standard 5% retention or be held to the standard. Do not present questions directly to the Architect/Engineer or the School District.
