Sealed bids will be received electronically via MAGIC or physically delivered to the office of the Department of Facilities Management of Alcorn State University for Floor Replacement at Robinson Hall & Burrus Hall, Lorman Campus. Alcorn State University reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals/qualifications and to waive informalities. Specifications may be obtained from the Office of Facilities Management. EXISTING CONDITIONS IN ROBINSON HALL 1. Contractor will be responsible for all moving of furniture in dorms rooms. 2. Contractor must protect all furniture from damage. 3. Contractor must leave flooring material in condition area for at least 24 hours Before laying flooring. 4. Contractors will be required to prep all floors pry to lay flooring. 5. Contractors shall overlay new LVT planks over existing VCT tile. 6. Contractors will be responsible for any damage that occurs in the building that's Not there now. 7. Contractors will be responsible for their own trash dumpster. 8. Contractors will quote 102 rooms, total square footage per room is 208 square footage, grand total square footage is 21,215 square footages. 9. Contractors are required to reset all furniture back to its original form. 10. Contractors will be required to clean all glue from tile. 11. Tile to be used in dorm rooms: 12. EXISITING CONDITION IN BURRUS HALL: 1 Contractors will be responsible for all moving furniture in dorm rooms, hallways and lobby. 2. Contractors must protect all furniture from damage. 3. Contractors must leave flooring material in condition environment for at least 24 hours pry to laying floors. 4. Contractors will be required to prep all floors before laying floors. 5. Contractors shall overlay new LVT planks over existing VCT tile. 6. Contractors will be responsible for their own trash dumpster. 7. Any fill in tile (VCT) that's missing contractor will provide. 8.
