The Housing Authority of the Cherokee Nation is seeking bids for the rehabilitation of one home in Sequoyah County. Work includes Appliances, Carpentry, Drywall and Finish, Electrical, Flooring, HVAC, Paint and Finish, and Plumbing, and must follow the provided work write-up. The project must be completed within 45 working days. Safe work practices are required in areas identified in the ACM report. Work should begin within two weeks of notification, with liquidated damages of $100.00 per day for delays past the contract date. Bidders must submit a fully completed Mandatory Bid Response sheet and Work Write Up. TERO certification through the Cherokee Nation Tribal Employment Rights Office is required for preference; proof must be included. The successful bidder must comply with Tribal rules, TERO requirements, and be subject to applicable Davis-Bacon Wage Rates. The purchase order will be awarded to the lowest, most responsive bidder, subject to availability of funds. Bids must be submitted by the specified deadline, and bidders are responsible for their own preparation and submission costs. Indian preference is provided per federal and Tribal regulations, and the successful bidder must complete the TERO Labor Agreement and pay all applicable fees.
