Renovation of a fire / police facility in Portage des Sioux, Missouri. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
Tear off existing roof layers down to the decking on main house section. Install roof protector underlayment (tar paper or comparable synthetic underlayment that is industry standard approved) prior to shingle installation. Shingles will be 3-tab architectural style (Timberline NS Natural Shadow Pewter Gray in color) secured by a minimum of 5 nails per shingle. Replace damaged roof decking that is failing if sections are found. Include the cost of 8 (eight) sheets of decking in the initial bid. The project involves providing roof replacement and siding for Base 29 for the St. Charles County Ambulance District. Bidders are required to submit competitive, sealed bids that include all costs associated with the project, such as materials, equipment, freight, delivery, dealer preparation and set-up, and labor. All equipment must remain the property of the seller until delivered to and accepted by the District. Equipment supplied by the District remains its property. Bidders must return an "Intent to Respond" form in order to receive any addenda. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and select the bid most advantageous to its interests, not necessarily the lowest priced bid.
