The project consists of a new locker room and athletic building on an existing campus. The new Junior High Athletic Complex involves the construction of an approximately 15,645-square-foot facility on District-owned property. The scope of site work includes rough grading, utility connection and coordination, subsurface drainage, concrete paving, asphaltic concrete paving, concrete sidewalks, concrete curb and gutter, landscaping, and installation of pre-engineered freestanding canopies. Building construction features a concrete foundation, concrete slab-on-grade, pre-engineered metal building, masonry veneer, metal panel veneer and trim, metal panel soffits and trim, truncated standing seam metal roof, concrete masonry unit and drywall partitions, architectural millwork, hollow metal frames and doors, wood doors, aluminum entrance systems, various building accessories, and mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems. Interior finishes include painted masonry, gypsum board walls, ceramic wall tile, suspended acoustic ceilings, framed gypsum board ceilings, and exposed painted ceilings. Flooring includes sealed and stained concrete and rubber sports flooring. Installation and provision of all architectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems are required as detailed in the contract documents. Proposers must provide bid security in the form of a bid bond of not less than five percent of the bid amount.
