Site work and addition to a mixed-use development in Macon, Georgia. Completed plans call for the addition of a playground / park / athletic field; and playground / park / athletic field.

The overall goal is to create a durable, safe, and architecturally cohesive outdoor environment, reflecting the commitment to excellence and providing a high-quality recreational and gathering space. The scope includes site preparation and demolition, erosion control, utility relocation and installation, stormwater management, earthwork and grading, site concrete, retaining walls, pavilion foundation, masonry, structural steel, carpentry, rubber surfacing/turf/playground surfacing, and MEP. Playground equipment will be furnished and installed by the owners vendor, with the contractor responsible for coordinating site conditions and installation. The contractor will be responsible for permitting the project with the county, with permit fees waived. All work will be under one contract, and payment and performance bonds will be required. The proposal submission must include a transmittal letter, letter from the surety company, evidence of insurability, project team resumes, contractor qualification statement, acknowledgement of addenda, licenses, completed fee schedule, and any other pertinent information. Proposals will be evaluated for stability, experience, management plan, past performance, and fee, with specific criteria outlined for each area. All proposers must comply with E-Verify requirements and submit relevant affidavits. ACE desires the playground addition and site work to be constructed in the summer of 2026 and completed before school starts back after Summer Break of 2026. ACE understands some portions of the project may not be completed in its entirety during the summer break but request the CM&R contractor to complete all related site work during summer months. ANTICIPATED PROJECT SCOPE ACEs architect, Dunwody/Beeland Architects, is currently working on construction documents. These documents will be issued for permit and Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) estimates in the summer of 2026.
